A quality domain host thats free

After years of going from free host to free host, I’m using a professional level domain host in the US, that costs US$95.40 a year, but if you refer someone you get paid US$97. Each time. Potentially this is a good way of making money. I have only referred one person so far, but that’s enough each year to take care of the cost of having a hosting service that is a so good. You can put unlimited domains on it, and you get a free dot.com when you start.  Want more?…

Cheap hosting

Choosing a domain host is daunting. Google it and you are presented with too many options. Most people I know start with a freebie, maybe 50 meg without much allowance for traffic, and soon find that this doesn’t cut it. I went through a few, some good, some not so good. The worst was having our server in the US die in a fire.

I now use a host that isn’t cheap but that ends up being free. Tricky heh. There is big money in referring people to Internet hosts, and companies make a living JUST referring people. One group, Dreamhost, instead hands these finders fees onto customheh.

My story: I signed up for the “Crazy Domain Insane” plan which costs US$7.95 a month. You can put an unlimited amount ofDreamhoston it (I have 3), you can store up to 20 gig worth of whatever on there, and that increases by 160 meg a week, and you are allowed 1 terabyte of traffic, which goes up by 8 gig a week. Like me, I’m sure you cannot come close to using all of this. That’s US$95.40 a year.
Every person you refer earns you money. A whopping $97. I’ve referred 1 person this year so far. Paid for. (Actually I chose not to take the once of payment of $97, but 10% of my friends payments forever – good if you think they will be there for years). All I need to do is refer 1 person a year and my hosting is paid for. You could try and make money from this if you think you can advertise it enough. I’m happy having the best hosting plan, way beyond my actual usage, capable of hosting as many websites as I or my friends could make for free.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
